In this artist talk, Hendrik Herchenbach and Andreas Schröder provide insight into their collaborative work on Feinwerk, an electroacoustic sound installation with live performance, and discuss sound art, instrument building, installation and electroacoustic composition.

Both artists work at the intersection of space, material and sound: from custom-developed resonators and sound objects to installation arrangements that directly incorporate architecture and physical processes. The talk offers insights into the research, the development of the sound installation and the collaboration within the Mikroton Residency.

The results of the residency will be presented on 12 June 2026 at 8 pm, in the concert Feinwerk.

The artist talk takes place in the historic hall of the arts and trades courtyard hp7 – Hans-Poeche-Straße 7, Leipzig Zentrum-Ost.
