Mikroton

With Feinwerk, Hendrik Herchenbach and Andreas Schröder present an electroacoustic sound installation with live performance as the culmination of the first Mikroton Residency in Leipzig. The project takes shape as a site-specific work situated between composition, performative intervention and spatial resonance.

Working from the historic arts and crafts courtyard as a point of departure, the artists investigate the site's materials, architectural structures and acoustic properties. Recorded sounds, objects from the former precision engineering workshop and specially developed resonators merge into a multi-layered concert performance in which the space itself becomes an active acoustic counterpart.

The event takes place at Hans-Poeche-Straße 7, Leipzig Zentrum-Ost.

The concert will be held in the historic hall of the arts and crafts courtyard, with an open-air bar extending the evening into the courtyard. Tickets are available on site.
